Georgia Koch is an award-winning filmmaker based in Los Angeles with over a decade of experience working with clients like Google, Viacom, Facebook, Participant Media, Disney, and more, on a variety of non-fiction documentary film, television and new media projects. Georgia's work has received millions of views online and has been featured in Forbes, Huffington Post, Newsweek, Variety, the Today Show, and more.

Georgia co-produced and edited Participant Media’s thirty minute film, LAUGHING MATTERS, starring Sarah Silverman, Rainn Wilson, and Rachel Bloom, examining the world of stand up comedy through the lens of mental health, which premiered for World Mental Health Day in the fall of 2019 and is currently streaming. Georgia also co-directed and edited the film, TOGETHER, WE RISE, featuring Kobe Bryant and Nick Cannon, produced by the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health (USA) and winner of three Awards of Excellence at the Impact Doc Awards in 2020.

Georgia edited the feature documentary film MUSIC GOT ME HERE, distributed by First Run Features in 2020, which won the Best Social Impact Doc award at the 2020 Greenwich International Film Festival. Last summer, Georgia, along with her husband Mike, co-directed, edited, and produced a documentary series about couples forced to cancel their weddings due to COVID-19, including their own. It was featured in outlets such as The Today Show, Brides Magazine, and Insider.com.

In addition to her long form documentary work, Georgia has edited short form branded campaign videos for Michelle Obama’s When We All Vote, the Joe Biden Campaign, Planned Parenthood, the Middleburg Film Festival, Public Counsel, and many more. She also edited the reboot of the classic MTV animation series Liquid Television.

Georgia’s clients come to her for her ability to make audiences feel something deeply — whether that’s laughing, crying, or inspiring social change. In addition to her film editing work, she’s also a graphic artist and is a graduate of New York University, where she studied film and new media as a tool for Social Change.
