RECENT WORK

one of the many things I’d like to remember in 2019
not sure what this says about me but every time someone says “don’t look down” I immediately look down.
happy new year! doing my yearly life audit so here’s a first draft/to be continued list of things I’m good and not good at. 📝
Merry Christmas!! We’re all a little dysfunctional. 🙃❤️
@mike__bernstein asked me a really important question yesterday 😭😭😭
something my dad said today that I never want to forget. 🙏🏼
drew this one a couple weeks ago but now with all of the wins on Tuesday I’m thinking maybe we don’t even need aliens (or maybe just a few to help move everything along?? 👽)
a list of things we can all agree on
sometimes I draw pictures just to remind myself of things I know but so often forget ✍🏼
my personality type is “loves people but hates unplanned encounters with people you kind of know”👋🏼
one week till I turn 29! shoutout to those I love who keep me sane 🙏🏼
the last privately owned #blockbuster is in bend, oregon and apparently they still use floppy disks 😭 #tbt
TFW you’re feeling great/stoked on life then you listen to the news 😑😑😑
When I’m drawing I never really think about what’s going to sell at a show or do well online or get me the most likes. I guess after 7 years of putting personal art into the world I’ve realized it’s really hard to figure out what people will like or want to buy and trying to figure it out can seriously fuck up my creative flow. The only through line I try to hold onto is that the stuff that feels the most raw to me and the most difficult to share with the world is often the stuff that connects with people the most. This is a drawing I never thought I would sell a print of — but that makes it even more special and I’m so grateful every time someone supports me by buying my work. It’s such a special feeling to know that a piece of me is out there now, with you. 🙏🏼
what if
SWIPE RIGHT // Just a quick PSA to say that your friend that seems like they are always on the best vacations is probably depressed and/or in debt and that couple that won’t stop posting their #summerlove escapades probably hasn’t had sex in a few weeks. As my dad always says, “everyone’s having a great time on Facebook!” This might sound snarky but it comes from a real place of knowing how shitty it can feel when you think everyone is out having a blast and you’re over here working or cleaning out your closet or dealing with your sick dog or whatever. (Larry is fine don’t worry.) Anyways, no matter what you’re doing I hope you’re enjoying the long hours of sun — whether that means being less depressed when you finish work for the day or by drinking piña coladas on a beautiful beach somewhere. #SUMMER
this weekend I’m going to make his favorite pasta dish, cacio e pepe, (which also happens to be mine) and eat it with a decent bottle of local wine with people I love because life is short and can be really fucking hard.💔 if you or anyone you know is struggling the suicide prevention hotline is 1-800-273–8255 and can be a really valuable resource to help get you through a hard time.
